Hi - Just wondering if there are any Splash travel trailer owners out
there. We purchased a 24B model this summer. So far it has been a good
rig for us. I'd appreciate hearing other owners opinions, problems, or
things to keep an eye on.

Thanks, Ken

Well that gives me an idea of perhaps their limited distribution area.
Splash travel trailers and 5th wheels are made by National RV, who
also makes motorhomes and is part of the holding company which owns
Country Coach. Thanks for the info!

I may have seen one on I-10 this past year...otherwise, not.

But National RV (also make "Sea Breeze" 5ers and motorhomes) does have
a good reputation for quality construction and customer
service...better than average at least. Hopefully, they make the
Splash well, too.

We've had a 27-5A fiver for almost 2 years (two trips from Seattle to San
Diego, and 20-25 weekends a year). National RV replaced the cd player when
I had a problem, but other than that, everything's been hunky dorry. Knock
on Wood. I've seen one other smaller Splash trailer in that time.

Thanks for the reply Jim. I also had the AM/FM CD player replaced
under warranty. Also a minor water leak in a plumbing line under the
bathroom sink.

We bought a 2002 24B last spring. We love the layout (similar to other
front queen bed/rear bath designs)
but the fit and finish are vastly nicer than the other brands we looked at.
We were impressed by the 'small'
details like the one piece shower enclosure (easy to keep clean), the fabric
finish on the couch and dinette
ends instead of paper over pressboard, the caulked (sealed) cabinet
enclosures (no dust infiltration), and a host
of other items that really set this trailer apart from the rest that we
looked at, and believe me, we looked at
a LOT of trailers in the 23-25 foot range. We towed it all over the Pacific
NW last summer and are really
looking forward to this summer's camping as well.
